volte-face
- digital/pink noise source
- random clock and melody generator
- random 4 step switch sequencer
- fluctuating and "radio" noise generator
Volte-Face uses random sequences of
square waves (shift register with
multiple feedback), whose rate can go from random clicks to pure noise.
Based on two CD4006 and one CD4093 logic ICs and inspired by "I Ching"
book.
4 were made
part of the
"system"
specifications:
- 2 internal clock generators "accelerators" with changeable priority
and ranges: one for logic feedback modulation, second - as non
feedback (pseudo-external)
- external clock input
- "accelerator II" clock output
- 3 independent outputs with different types of noises, random clocks
etc.
- 4 synchronized random switchers (random sequencer)
- 2 special "mutation" inputs for AM and FM modulation
